Next Baptism: Stay Tuned!

Baptism illustrates your union with Christ in His death and resurrection, a new life in Him, and a symbolic cleansing and washing away of sins.

If this is your next step, we'd love to celebrate with you at an upcoming baptism service!
What if I was baptized as a baby?
Many of us were baptized as babies depending on the denominations we were raised in! We view baptism as a conscious decision to declare your faith; Think what a wedding is to a marriage, baptism is to surrendering your life to Jesus. Because infant baptism was not your personal choice, we encourage you to make the decision to be baptized through believer baptism when you are ready.
Is there an age requirement to get baptized?
There is no age requirement; We see God at work in the lives of young and old alike! We do, however, want participants to understand what they are doing. We are happy to come alongside people of any age to answer questions and talk through their decision to be baptized to ensure they are stepping into a life submitted to Jesus, knowing the cost of following Him, as well as they can understand.
What's the difference between baptism and dedication?
In baptism, a person is fully submerged under the water and immediately lifted out, representing their new life they have chosen in Christ. Baptism is a public declaration of a person's own choice and commitment to live for Jesus.

In dedication, parents bring their children before the congregation to dedicate them back to the Lord. Together, we pray for and celebrate the parent’s choice to raise their child(ren) in a God centered home, pursuing the wholeness for their family only found in Him.  "Dedication" is the term we use for a parent's decision to trust the Lord with their child(ren) and commit to raise them in a Christ-centered home.
What does it mean to say "yes" to Jesus?
Saying "yes" is committing to a personal relationship with Jesus, choosing to follow His teachings, submitting to His will, and receiving the free gift of salvation.
