True North Church is partnering with Early Head Start to MOVE THE SCHOOL Tuesday May 31st 9am-4pm. Needed: trucks, movers, and unpackers/organizers (great for teens and families)

Early Head Start is moving their location temporarily for renovations and with no budget for movers, it is up to their staff. Head Start serves families and children birth-Prek living below the poverty line. Childcare workers and teachers are experiencing more burnout than ever. Head Start staff serve some of the most marginalized children in our community. Giving our time, serving others, and loving well is just who we are.

Other ways to serve
Serving can start with simple, tangible ways to bless others. The staff at Head Start are so invested and give themselves to what they do! How easy is it to send some coffee, volunteer for a day, or drop off a case of Diet Coke for their fridge?! Small gestures can make a huge difference in a day. We want teachers to know they’re seen and cared for! These staff and teachers are invested in kids and families living below the poverty line; some of the most marginalized in our community.
